3 simple steps

Three simple steps to setting up your own recruitment business.

This, as they say, is how we roll. It’s not a tutorial or teach in. It’s not a blog about the key stages in setting up a business from scratch. It’s the three stages in the process we use to help recruitment professionals start up their own companies.

With The Recruit Venture Group it goes like this.

1 Apply and Meet

It starts with you applying via our website.Tell us you’ve got five years continuous recruitment experience and that you’ve specialised in a specific sector; maybe you’ve run your own desk. Make it plain to us that you’ve got the drive and ambition to do this. That you really want to run your own recruitment business. Do that and we’ll meet. It’s your chance to tell us more about yourself, and your aims. An opportunity to explain where you want to operate, and what you think will make you stand out.

2. Discussion and Decision

Next, we need to crunch the numbers. Let’s look at your business plan, and weigh up your likely turnover and costs. It’s about putting in some time to examine what you’ll need and what you’ve got to offer. We’re not looking to make it over complicated. But we want to ensure that you’re on a firm footing. Really firm, as in 100% risk free funding and the ability to draw a salary from day one,

3. Set up and Start Up

Once we – and you – are happy with all of that we’ll get you set up. We’ll cover the ‘legals’ like incorporating your company. We’ll help find you premises, guide you on branding and marketing and give you access to our back office and admin systems.

Then it’s the launch. You’re off. Your own recruitment business, founded and supported so robustly that you can concentrate on building it.

It really is that straightforward. It’s your business. You’ll have shares in it and you’ll draw dividends from it. We’ve got your back, but we’re not constantly over your shoulder.

There are other ways of doing it.  A franchise, for example. But if you want to build a brand why wave someone else’s banner? There are bank loans and finance houses – but concern about repayments and risk are not conducive to clear headed focus on your new business.

You could strip costs back to the smallest you can make them by setting up in your spare room. A one person bedroom recruiter. Staying small won’t be particularly rewarding and growing fast will mean you’ll need backing to expand. You’ll just be seeking it later rather than sooner.

Why bother wandering down any of those difficult paths when just three simple steps could take you so much further – Apply Now
