Many recruitment entrepreneurs over the past five years have launched their own recruitment business with the support of Recruit Ventures and this month Carestaff Bureau Ltd launch in Hastings, East Sussex under the directorship of Andrew McGeorge.
Carestaff Bureau specialise in the temporary and permanent recruitment of Qualified Nurses and Support Care Workers to Healthcare Establishments throughout East Sussex.
Andrew McGeorge, a previous Sector Manager at Nurse Plus UK has more than 20 years’ experience in recruitment, an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector and an enviable local reputation.
Andrew was attracted to Recruit Ventures as a business partner because of their joint venture business model which supports recruitment professionals, who have five years plus experience with 100% funding, shares and dividends, a guaranteed salary, no financial risk and access to a full back office support function to set up on their own.
“After months of planning, I am excited to launch my own recruitment business and thank Recruit Ventures for their support in getting us here” said Andrew .
“I had often dreamed about setting up on my own but was hesitant for many reasons, as many are. I wanted to be out there recruiting and didn’t want to get tied down dealing with the back-office function of the business, however I knew that if I could find some support elsewhere to deal with all that then I could turn my dream into reality.
After some research, it led me to meet with John Buckman, Chairman of Recruit Ventures. He offered a business package I couldn’t refuse – 100 % investment and back office support function delivered by a team of experts. With Recruit Ventures support in place, all my concerns where dismissed and I could develop my business plan”
“We are delighted to support Andrew in his new recruitment business venture within the healthcare sector said John Buckman, Chairman of Recruit Ventures. From my initial meeting with Andrew, I could sense that his passion and drive would quickly turn his concept into a profitable agency, with us being able to provide the investment and back office support he needs to get going. He can now focus what he does best, recruitment and build a reputable agency.”
The Recruit Ventures joint venture business model is unique to the industry. It has supported many business owners become successful in their own right and grown the Recruit Ventures business from £4.6m in year one to over £40m in the past five years.
As chairman of Jark Plc, John made the bold decision at the start of the year to embrace Jark plc within the model and shift the business from being a branch oriented recruitment company to a joint venture operation itself.
In doing so he empowered his branch managers to become owners of their own company, offering them the Recruit Ventures benefits of shares in their own business, a guaranteed salary, no financial risk and the opportunity to earn dividends. Each new partner has streamlined their management structure which has created a £2m saving across the business.
“Yes, this has been a business risk but in doing so has increased our joint venture operation from 16 to 38 trading companies throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, with a combined turnover of £133.5m and £5.3m net profit. By empowering our managers to become business owners in their own right, we hope it motivates them to grow their own business and build capital value. They are now, in control of their own destinies and that is what Recruit Ventures is all about” said John.
Andrew McGeorge adopted the Recruit Ventures Joint Venture model and Carestaff Bureau began trading in Hastings on Monday 5th September 2016.
